For the last 227 years, SALOMON UNDHOF has produced white wines from the best terraced sites along the Danube. Famous wines like Ried Steiner Koegl, Ried Pfaffenberg, Ried Lindberg and Ried Wachtberg are growing in the „Grand Cru“ sites along the Danube which are tended by Bert Salomon in the 7th generation. „We think in long terms. Controlled integrated production and the absence of herbicides are important to us. This approach guarantees first class grapes and preserves butterflies, bees and hares“, Mr. Bertold Salomon points out.
