Weingut Johann Topf

In the southern part of the Kamptal valley one can find the Topf winery in the picturesque village of Strass im Strassertal. Since 1885 knowledge and passion is transfered through each generation. The family knows each vine of the 50 ha big vinery, which is beside his family his biggest passion. The quality only grows in the vineyards and so he wants to keep this quality in the cellar by working with a modern but traditional vinification. It’s the philosophy of Hans Topf that his wines are characterized by his personality but with still a recognizable typicity of the vintage and Terroir. Great wines are like great personalities, deeply ingrained with their origin.
