Weingut Mehofer-Neudeggerhof

The Mehofer family has lived and worked on the Neudeggerhof estate for more than 300 years. Since 1992 all wines have been produced organically. Today, the tenth-generation is focusing on typical Austrian varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Roter Veltliner. Their favourite vineyard is Wadenthal - a unique site known for its great biodiversity. All the wines are characterised by deep layer of "Loess" a rather cool Austrian climate. Despite wine, the family extracts honey, uses renewable resources for building, fills their wine in light-glass-bottles and grow trees for barrel production.
