Lesehof Stagård

The old reading courtyard was built in 1424 and, even if the wine was not pressed immediately, there are records that Benedictine monks were already planting wine. In 1786, Urban's family took over the reading farm and we have been making wine ever since. Urban's father brought the name with the idiosyncratic å from Sweden in the 1980s. Ten generations of viticulture lie between the beginning and the present. That not only means a lot of tradition, but also a commitment to carry on. Organic farming (since 2005) was expanded in 2020 to include bio-dynamics (DEMETER).
