An exceptional Pinot Noir, aged entirely in barrique, with fine tannin structure and intense cherry aromas, delicate spicy pepper notes, earthy character, hints of dark chocolate, with maturity it shows deeper notes, leather and roasted coffee. Long finish, structured and well balanced.

Vineyard: EICHBERG GG
Located about 10 km from the Ihringer Winklerberg, this vineyard extends towards the Vosges. A heavy loam-loess soil overlays the volcanic rock here. Pinot varieties grow here, exclusively Pinot Noir, which are very similar in style to French Burgundies. Fine cherry fruit aromas on the nose and cassis nuances on the palate, pure elegance and intensity, with a juicy finish.
