Description
The diversity of the soils in central Burgenland is reflected in this wine perfectly. Hand-picked Blaufränkisch grapes from the vineyards in Neckenmarkt and Horitschon are processed for this wine. The partly barren and stony southern slopes of the “Ödenburger Gebirge” in Neckenmarkt are a guarantee for optimal maturity, fruit and minerality. The complexity, power and enthralling tannin structure comes from the profound clay and loam soils that dominate in Horitschon.
