Leithaberg DACBlaufränkisch Großhöflein 2019

Dark ruby red, very dark aromas of sour cherry compote and blackberries on the palate, floral notes of violets and an almost perfumed spiciness of white pepper. The racy, animating acidity and the fine-grained tannin give the wine a velvety structure. Despite its fullness, it is never overloaded, but delicate and elegant.

This wine lives on fruit and spice. As such, it harmonises with meat dishes such as beef or game. It is also perfect with root sauces, as the wine‘s animating acidity lightens up these sumptuous dishes.
