The Rosenberg in Göttlesbrunn is a south-facing, wind-sheltered site, which is embraced by the by the cooling deciduous forests. In the upper part of the slope we find low-limestone gravel deposits of the former Danube riverbed. On the lower slope are calcareous sediments of the former lake and river landscape, clays, silts and sands of the Miocene (Pannonian SITUATION & SOIL: Clay, lime, sand and Danube gravels

Fermentation: Spontaneous fermentation on the skins followed by malolactic fermentation in barriques. OLD VINIFICATION: 18 months in French barriques
