Description
STYLE: Pinot Blanc and loess represent both sides of the medal, creamy and full-bodied wine where the acidity plays a beautifully calming background music but yet adds some muscles to the snug body of our Weißer Burgunder. A saltiness combined with delicate spice and ripe fruit. A touch of orange and mandarine on the palate that initiates a delicate but long lasting fruity finale. A great and multi-layered food companion for vegetables, fish and meat. VINIFICATION: Harvested by hand, in 25kg boxes. Slow and gentle pressing. Spontaneous fermentation without temperature control. The wine develops calmly on its lees in stainless steel for 24 months without further intervention. Unfiltered. Malolactic fermentation, total sulphur 92 mg/l, lively and unfiltered Alcohol: 14,0 %vol, Acidity: 5.0 g/l, Residual sugar: 7.0 g/l
