About
Strong women, strong wines - Mother Maria and daughter Anna live this motto at the Faber-Köchl Winery. The close to nature and the Weinviertel is important to the organic winemakers. "A wine should taste of where it comes from," says Maria. They consciously do not imitate the great wine nations. Instead, they make Weinviertler wines that make you want a second glass. In 2019, Anna won the VINEUS Award for this as Austria's Newcomer Winemaker of the Year.

Owner
Maria Faber-Köchl
Maria Faber-Köchl founded the winery in 1999. Beginning with only one hectare, she grew the winery up to 8 hectares, always focussing on the handcraft in the vineyards which, in her opinion, lay the foundation of high quality wines. Up to 2015 she took on the responsibility for everything in the winery, working in the vineyards, making the wine as well as marketing and distributing the wines. Working together with her daughter Anna since 2015, she now can focus on marketing and distribution.
